About me
Hi, I’m Isabella Law but you can call me Bella. I am a 17 year old aspiring graphic designer who is currently in college and lives in Bournemouth, Dorset, England.
I am studying graphic design at college and by the end of 2024 I will have 2 Diplomas in The Creative Arts. I currently study at Bournemouth and Poole College at the North Road, Poole branch. I thoroughly enjoy studying at this college as they have been very helpful with both my studies and mental health.
In 2 years I see myself in university and doing a graphic design course to help my journey into becoming an branding graphic designer.
My graphic design plan is to do well in college (where I currently am) creating art to put into my portfolio which should lead me inot getting a good grade in my final year. After that I am hoping
GCSE work
I attended Avonbourne Boy's and Girl's Academy from 2017-2022. In year 10 (2020) I chose fine art as a GCSE choice which I followed through until year 11 (2021) and got a Grade 7 in the summer of 2022. Throughout my GCSEs I was fascinated by both architecture and faces so I tried to incorporate as many architectural and facial drawings in my final pieces as possible.
College work
I currently attend Bournemouth and Poole College at the North Road branch. I have chosen to take the Level 3 Diploma in the Creative Arts which is a two year course. I have decided to specialise in fine art instead of fashion, photography or graphics as it allowed me to create more detailed fine art pieces of buildings such as brickwork and stained glass on churches. I was considering choosing graphics because I could see how the digital world is involved within architecture.
Hobby work
For the past 6 years I have been using the children's website called Roblox to create and document early stages of building architectural ideas. Roblox is a kid's website which has hundreds of minigames within its website and one of the games is called Boxburg. This game allows you to build houses, earn money and chat to other people within that server. I used that game to build some ideas that would come to me such as creating a restaurant with a block of flats above it or houses on a mountain. I loved using this game as it was relatively cheap and let me explore my capabilities. I have documented some of the builds that I have done over the past six years which will be shown below.
